Week of the Culture of Salento and of the Euromediterranean Area
Two multiple events which blend together, integrating themselves and developing in several initiatives, each one representing an event in itself. Every single one, regarded in its peculiarity, characterized by an excellent cultural, artistic and spectacular level.
Mission and Aims
The communicative message the socio-cultural initiative intends to popularize is to recognize and let people know the “Culture of Salento”, made of history, art, tastes, men and traditions.
The event certainly coincides with an effective instrument of territorial marketing, promotion and improvement of the heritage and the resources of Salento, managing to combine culture, art and spectacle with tourism, valorization of cultural goods and productive activities of the area. Moreover it gives prestige to whom have represented an added value for the land of Salento, having in actual fact contributed to its development.
Honour Award
The recognition is set up in order to turn the human, intellectual and productive energies of Salento to better account.
Every year it is assigned to those people from Salento who have particularly distinguished themselves by their commitment, inventiveness, spirit of enterprise and by the results of their research in the fields of politics, literature, science, economics and art.
Particular awards may be furthermore assigned to people from Salento, both resident or emigrated, or to people that originally came from other places who have anyhow acted in order to propose Salento, its culture and its needs to the national and international attention or alternatively to people from Salento who have become outstanding figures due to their personal activity and industriousness.
Acknowledgments are also foreseen for evidences of national and international collaboration/cooperation of peculiar interest for our territory.

It directly takes up the people operating in the diverse (socio-cultural, artistic, economic and productive) fields of activities involved, together with the numerous guests representing the different branches of culture, art and spectacle who for seven days will tread the stage proposing ideas and exhibitions which always meet with great approval, which draw and involve a highly motivated and large audience, symbolizing different ages and social segments, people coming from Salento as well as foreigners, always numerous in a period which sees the town and the province crowded with tourists.
Promotion and Opportunities
By means of the “Il Sallentino” award will be involved both national and international leading personalities, while the “Week” sections will offer the best promises of our territory, together with better and well-known, established professionals, working also abroad.
This will establish an important interaction among the various categories involved, and thus, an extraordinary vehicle of promotion for the “emerging resources” and the “young talents” of our land.

Was die soziokulturelle Unternehmung Bekantmachen will, ist die Historie, die Kunst, die art, die Leute und die Tradition der "Salento Kultur". Das Ereignis ist sicherlich eine wirksamer mittel für das landen Marketing, für die Beforderung und die Aufwertung dem vermögen und dem Reichtum des Salento. Es bindet die Kultur, die Kunst und der Vorstellung an Dehmtourismus es wertet die kulturguter, die produktive Tätigkeiten auf und gibt der ansehen an jener die als wert für das "Salento Land" sind, weil sie ein konkreter reitraß an ihres Entwicklung Geren.
Die ehre Erkennung
Die Erkennung ist um die menschliche, die geistige und die produktive kraft des Salento zu hervorheben. Diese Erkennung wird jährlich an den "Salentini", die sich ausgezeichnet haben bei der Politik, der Wissenschaft, der Wirtschaftslehre und der Kunst für Verpflichtung Schaffenskraft, Unternehmungsgeist und für Forschungsresultate zuerkennt außerdem kennen besondere Erkennungen an "Salentini" (ortsansässige oder Emigranten) und nicht "Salentini" die sich bemuht haben um den Salento, seine Kultur und seine Bedürfnisse an die nationale oder internationale acht vorgelegen haben. Es gibt dabei auch Erkennungen für besonders wichtige nationale und internationale zusammen Kooperations-Arbeit Bezeigunke, für das Land Salento.

Bei die Erkennungen den "Sallentino", nationale sowie internationale bedeutende Persönlichkeit nehmen teil, bei der "Woche" die beste "Hoffnungen des Landes" werden vorgestaut. Es bildet sich so eine wichtige Interaktion zwischen die verschiedene Kategorien für die Bekanntmachung der "hervortauchende Menschenmaterial" und der "junge talentierte".

Semana de la Cultura salentina y euromediterránea
Dos eventos múltiples que se funden juntos, integrandose y desarrollandose en distintas iniciativas, cada cual representa en si misma un evento. Cada uno, considerado en su singularidad, de excelente nivel cultural, artistico y espectácular.
Misión y objetivos
El mensaje de comunicación, que la iniciativa socio-cultural pretende divulgar, es reconocer y hacer conocer la “cultura Salento”, que está hecha de historia, de arte, de sabores, de personas y de tradiciónes. El evento, por cierto, realiza un eficaz instrumento de comercialización territorial, de promoción y de valorización del patrimonio y de los recursos salentinos, que une la cultura, el arte y el espectáculo, al turismo, a la valorización de los bienes culturales y de las actividades productivas del territorio y proporciona prestigio a los que representaron un valor añadido para la tierra salentina, por sus concretos contributos a su desarrollo.
Galardón de honor
Este premio fue creado con el fin de valorizar las energías humanas, intelectuales y productivas del Salento. Es asignado cada año a salentinos que se han distinguidos en política, en letras, en ciencias, en economía y en artes, señalandose por compromiso, creatividad, iniciativa y resultados de las investigaciónes. Además, se puede galardonar salentinos (residentes o emigrados) y a no salentinos que operaron para proponer el Salento, su cultura y sus necesidades a la atención nacional o internacional, o bien a salentinos que se sean hechos grandes por su personal actividad y laboriosidad. Galardónes están previstos también para testigos de colaboración /cooperación nacional y internacional de peculiar interés para el territorio salentino.
Semana de la Cultura salentina y euromediterránea
En las distintas secciónes de actividades interesantes, compromete directamente a los operadores de las realidades socio-culturales, artisticas, economicas y productivas, juntos a los muchisimos huéspedes de las distintas disciplinas de la Cultura, del arte y del espectáculo que, cada dia y para siete dias, actúan en el escenario, proponendo argumentaciónes y exhibiciónes siempre de mucho agrado, que llaman y interesan un público amplísimo, muy motivado y hetérogeneo, que representa las distintas edades y los distintos segmentos sociales de la Comunidad, Salentinos y forasteros, siempre en gran número en el periodo considerado, en la ciudad y en el Salento.

Con la entrega de los galardónes “il Sallentino”, serán interesadas personalidades de primer plan a nivel nacional y internacional, mientras con las secciónes de la “Semana” serán propuestas las mejores promesas del territorio, juntos a sus compañeros ya conocidos y célebres, también en el extranjero. Se establece, así, una importante interacción entre las distintas categorías interesadas y, por eso, un formidable vehículo de promoción para los “recursos emergentes” y los “jovenes talentos” del territorio.
