Evento segnalato da: CNR
A fascinating journey to discover the vast world of agribusiness: the Mediterranean diet and its cultural roots; the importance of local production; organoleptic properties of foods; logistics, security, environmental sustainability.
Conferences, workshops, laboratories, special events, science cafés.
And, above all, lots of exhibits, arranged in a single, vast exhibition that will accompany the visitor in an informative structured path through territory, history and science. We will discover the innovations about the Mediterranean diet, the typical regional sectors (oil, wine, dairy, cereals and pasta, fruit and vegetables, fish etc.), know-how of the food industry and evolution and innovation in the changing process involving environment, rural and agricultural landscape.
The event is part of the "150 Years of Science" program – in the ninth edition of Genoa Science Festival, to celebrate the one hundred and fiftieth anniversary of Italy united. For this special country birthday, CNR and Science Festival trace the evolution of the Italian Science and the excellence of our country in 6 thematic stages (and in many cities of Italy).
