The third edition of “Le Verdi Stanze”, an initiative dedicated to the landscape and gardens Salento, via a guided tour, will visit Tamborino Park in Maglie, Villa Zaira in Muro Leccese and Park Episcopo in Poggiardo, joined together by the theme of "Fabriques or follies "," architectural trinkets "that characterize the garden giving it a unique character and spectacular.
As Elvira Addonizio, landscape architect and creator of “Le Verdi Stanze” says , the garden once released from the rigid patterns of the past, comes out a new concept of the garden, designed as a landscape, or nature.
The sequence of movements of the ground, groups of trees, grassy areas of the garden are nothing but the continuation of the surrounding landscape. In this context, the garden begins to be populated by a number of buildings: "les Fabriques" oriental pavilions and other architectural elements designed to characterize the various environments.
In Italy and Puglia, this phenomenon is partly cushioned, "les Fabriques" mean the part of many local gardens, but are always contextualized in a fairly balanced within themselves, while maintaining the strong character of eccentricity.
