Puglia Events is a project of the Regional Government of Apulia, which is carried out by the Teatro Pubblico Pugliese as part of the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) O. P. 2007-2013 Axis IV, integrated with the Apulia's promotional services offered by the regional tourist website viaggiareinpuglia.it
The project
PUGLIA EVENTS is the Regional Government of Apulia's project to create an official "Regional Bill of Events" for Apulia. The project is part of a broader integrated communication system aiming to promote Apulia's cultural events both in Italy and abroad. The project also aims to support and strengthen close cooperation between the bodies and institutions producing cultural events, and incoming tour operators.
The pugliaevents.it website is the project's main communication platform: it is accessible via the internet and via mobile access points and gives information about cinema, music, theatre and dance, business and trade fairs, sport and the environment, food and wine, traditions, entertainment, art and culture.
The website makes it easier for visitors/potential tourists to interact with cultural and tour operators, giving them rapid access to a vast number of offers (including culture and tourism), and so allowing them to plan their stay in Apulia.
The Regional Government's integrated communications system improves and facilitates the promotion of events organised by private and public bodies in the region, and also contribute to the spread of information in Italy and abroad about Apulia, its land and cultural, social and economic life.
